The WF43QTIBEDBND is a 4.3-inch TFT LCD screen module with a control board. It boasts a resolution of 480×272 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. Equipped with an SSD1963 controller board, it offers interface options of 8-bit or 16-bit within the 8080 family MPU. Pin numbers 33 to 36 are designated for backlight supply, eliminating the need for an extra backlight circuit. The module features frame through holes for convenient mounting and usage.
The Winstar Q series supports the SSD1963 controller, which utilizes traditional inputs and drives TFT via VESA signal. Consequently, there’s no need for a T-COM circuit onboard. Moreover, all functions, including TFT connection, backlight driver, and touch panel, are integrated into a single connection.
The WF43QTIBEDBND 4.3″ TFT LCD panel operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +70°C, and the storage temperature ranges from -30°C to +80°C. The LCM power supply voltage is 3.0V to 3.3V, with a typical value of 3.1V. The brightness of the module is 500 nits, and the contrast ratio is 500:1 (typical value).
The Winstar TFT Q Series Modules provide the following innovative advantages to offer outstanding performance for colorful displays:
- The Q Series integrates a 36-pin connector on the SSD1963 controller board, and all connectors are oriented in the same direction.
- The Q Series modules are available in 8080 family MPU 8-bit and 16-bit parallel interface options.
- Pins 33 to 36 are already pre-defined as the backlight supply.
- With a built-in backlight driver IC, Q series TFT displays can be driven by 5V (the 3.5″ and 4.3″ also support 3.3V). Customers do not have to change the backlight driver circuits when changing the TFT module sizes.
- The 5.7”, 7.0”, 8.0”, and 10.2” Q Series allow for the design of a “Sleep Mode” to close BIAS (VGH, VGL, AVDD) for low power consumption.
- Resistive touch screen options are available for all Q Series displays, and a 4-line signal (X1, Y1, X2, Y2) can be input from the 36-pin connector.
- Capacitive touch screen options are available for all Q Series displays, and the I2C read/write protocol can be input from the 36-pin connector.
