Description

The WH1202A model is a 12-character by 2-line small/miniature LCD display with outline dimensions of 55.7 x 32 mm, an active area size of 56.20 x 11.5 mm, and a diagonal size of 1.6 inches. The default power supply is 5V, and there is an optional 3V configuration. If opting for the 3V module, a negative voltage version is also available. The 12×2 LCD module comes with a PCB board that includes mounting holes, facilitating easy installation in various applications.

The WH1202A display LCD 12×2 modules include positive mode with gray or yellow/green LCD and negative mode with a blue LCD color option. These miniature LCD displays offer different interfaces, built-in with the ST7066 controller, which has a default 6800 parallel interface. Additionally, there are optional SPI and I2C interfaces available by using the RW1063 IC.

There are three interface options for the WH1202A series, detailed as follows:
►WH1202A: 6800 interface (ST7066 IC)
►WH1202A1: SPI interface (RW1063 IC)
►WH1202A2: I2C interface (RW1063 IC)

A 1.6-inch LCD display with a display format of 12 characters by 2 lines is suitable for applications that require a compact and limited information display. Examples of such applications include digital thermometers, portable digital multimeters, alarm clocks, handheld test equipment, compact industrial control panels, and other products that require an LCD display with a 12×2 character format.
